AFRICA
Many generations ago, our families were living and minding their business in their homeland. Then, a foreign race of people who did not belong on the continent invaded and took them captive. They were packed into ships and sent out to different parts of the world. Many of us descend from the ones who were brought to the area of land we know as North America which was and actually still is only for the Natives. So not only did the enslavers not belong in our people's land, they also didn't belong in the land that they brought them to, even though they went on to take over and set up government.
Here in the States, our families were torn apart and sold to other humans as though they had no worth. They were forced to fornicate to make more babies for what is known as "breeding" and then many of their babies were taken from them and sold as though they were objects. Our ancestors dealt with many harships including beatings, amputations, lynchings, and so much more. Many of them were tortured and either dealt with or witnessed unspeakable horrors. Yet our people continue to gravitate towards the oppressors' descendants and have lost interest in our own lineage.
It's important to understand that the oppressors of our ancestors considered them to be less than human. They lacked the love and respect for our people that they deserved. Our families worked tirelessly in the fields of a land that they did not even belong in and worked hard for a people who were foreigners themselves. Because we have been influenced by the descendants of the oppressors for generations, it's no wonder that their nonchalant attitude towards our people has caused so many of us to forget what took place years ago and carry on as though it never happened. So many of our own people would be embarrased if they were approached and told that they "looked African" but would be flattered if they were told that they resembled any other race.
If you would be offended by someone referring to you as an African, it is because you have become desensitized to the evils that took place in the past towards your own. You have distanced yourself from your own culture, and no I am not referring to "Black" or "African American" culture which is mainly rooted in western culture and began with our ancestors' enslavers. Now understandably, many of us don't know what we would be like without the negative influence of a people who hated us. So to change that you need to research or at least learn from those who do! Get a saliva test done through 23andMe and find out what part(s) of Africa you descend from.
Amazingly, many of our people have already made their way back to the homeland and have been residing there for decades. Although traveling to visit the motherland is a good thing, it is not the same as moving there permanently. Every single one of us who are either fully or at least mostly African and look like it should be making our way back to the land. It is where we belong. We have been conditioned to think that we belong here in the U.S. because the people who invaded generations ago took over and are still here thinking that it is their right to be.
It never was and will never be for anyone other than the Natives that are referred to as American Indians or Native Americans. People from all over the world are mesmerized by what they have seen in the U.S. and are more than willing to give up their own heritage and culture to be like the "Americans" without any true understanding about the evil history of this place. Our ancestors' labor is a major part of what even allowed this continent to become what it is today. So much is owed to our people without us even realizing it. But, this is not our home.
We think of North America as being our "home" simply because we live here but if you had a child and they were abducted, you wouldn't think of their captor's residence as being their home becuase you would know that they belonged at home with you. Our families were abducted long ago and we still reside in the land that they were brought to. We live here but still don't belong because our home is in Africa. There are so many "Blacks" that have moved to Africa and have been successful. Do your research and learn from them.
It's understandable that many of our own have become detached from who they truly are and are so caught up with western culture and the opressor's way of thinking that they couldn't imagine giving up what they have worked so hard for their entire lives. Many folks are stuck in their ways and will never even consider packing up and moving to the land that is for them. Others will use the excuse of trying to get away from poverty and racial injustice instead of just making peace with the fact that they are the descendants of a people that were brought here by force and simply don't belong here any more than any other non-Native American that resides here. In fact, most people who reside in the U.S. don't belong even those who may have a little bit of Native blood. It has been time for us to realize this and make plans to be where we belong.
No, I don't mean waiting until you retire...that's being passive. I mean starting right now with research, planning, saving money, learning money management, and making the dream to go back to Africa a reality. It will take time to "unlearn" lies and misconceptions, to "undo" what was done to us, and to get back our languages and cultures but with time, we can slowly become the way we were meant to be. You might be skeptical about all of this if you do not have any friends or immediate family that think this way. Society has weakened the minds of people so that they feel as though they need support for something as personal as to focus on one's own bloodline.
Many are not willing to do this unless they know of others who think the same way. How foolish we have become! Even if you are the only one you know who is passionate about your own lineage, that is okay! The truth of our people will only remain alive in a fraction of the minds of our people due to so many years of exposure to the cultures and ideas of other nations that were never meant for us. Many of us will end up traveling this journey alone, but don't be discouraged! This is just the way of things and should only motivate you to keep going since you get to be one of the descendants who refuses to forget about your ancestors and take back what is rightfully yours!
The fact that we can know our's ancestor's horrible history and still want to be in the land that they were forced to live in really shows the hold that the oppressors have on us as a people. Just the thought of leaving the land we've always known may be scary at first but with faith in the Most High, we can all overcome!
The land that we know as North America is only for the Natives of this land.Only for those who are either full-blooded Natives or at least have mostly Native blood. One would need to take a DNA test to know for sure.It is Yah's will that those of us who are either full-blooded Africans or at least have mostly African blood, like myself, to be in the land we know as Africa. The only reason our African ancestors were ever in North America is because they were abducted by the English Europeans.
The group of ancestors that were abducted from Africa did not want to be here in North America. They would have loved to have the opportunity to go back to Africa. How do you think they would feel if they knew that we, generations later, we have no interest whatsoever in being in their Homeland? We don't belong in North America even though many of us reside here. No African (full-blooded or mostly African) belongs outside of Africa ever.
According to the Holy Scriptures in the Old Testament after those people came together and began to build the Tower of Babel, Yah confounded (confused) the one language that they spoke and gave them many languages and then scattered them to different parts of the world. This is how multiple nationalities with their own unique physical characteristics came to be.One reason that we were not brought up to care about Africa is that the White enslavers did not want the descendants of our ancestors (us) to be able to trace our lineage to that land. They wanted to keep us enslaved and one way to do that is to ensure that the slaves don't know who they really are. Without native language, without even knowing the land that one belongs to, we would only know North America and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
If our people continued to speak their native tongues while they were enslaved, they could have easily planned more riots and could have possibly overtaken the enslavers. It's no surprise that most of our people have no interest in even traveling to Africa let alone move there. Most don't even realize that they are African. Our bloodline never changed even though the name "Africa" has no significance since the continent was named after a White man (French, I believe) whose last name was Africaanus. He invaded a part of Africa and the Whites of Northern America honored him by naming that continent after him on their English maps.
We belong in Africa and should not be anywhere else.
These are forgotten truths.
